What this tool inspects
Digital Signatures
All signature layers embedded in the PDF: field names, signer identity, signing algorithm, and declared reason.
Certificate Chain
The X.509 certificate attached to each signature: issuer, validity period, key size, and expiry status.
Timestamp Authority
Whether a trusted timestamp token (TSA) is embedded and the exact time the signature was applied.
Byte Range Integrity
Verifies the signed byte ranges to detect any modification made to the document after signing.
Form Fields
All interactive form fields in the PDF: their names, field types, and current values.
Document Hash
SHA-256 fingerprint of the file, useful for independent verification and long-term tamper detection.
About Docmiral eSign

- Compliant with EU eIDAS, US ESIGN Act, and UK Electronic Communications Act
- ByteRange signing ensures the original document content is unchanged after signing
- Audit records are cross-referenced against Docmiral's database when you upload a signed PDF here
- Each signer is identified by email, phone, and IP, all recorded alongside the embedded certificate
